Balloon, quad + camel
Balloon, quad and camel sit in one countryside day of about 9 hours, so the pace changes three times without three separate bookings. You'll start with around an hour in the air, move to a guided quad session of about an hour, then finish on a slower camel ride. Champagne and breakfast follow the landing before the ground activities begin.
Today, hour by hour
That's the balloon morning. The rest of the day follows after breakfast.
COLLECTION 5:30 to 6:00 · OTHER TIMES FROM THE SUN · CONFIRMED AT BOOKINGHow the morning runs
An early pickup from your hotel or riad takes you to the balloon launch site. After a safety briefing you take off around sunrise for about an hour above the Palmeraie and nearby countryside.
On landing you enjoy a champagne toast and breakfast before transferring to the next activity.
Quad biking follows, taking you along tracks and rural paths for around an hour with full guidance and safety equipment provided.
The pace is beginner-friendly, with the guide setting the route so first-timers can settle in before the tracks open out.
The day finishes with a gentler camel ride, giving you time to relax and take in the scenery at a slower pace before the return to Marrakech.
You are dropped back at the nearest accessible point to your accommodation at the end of the day.

How long does the full day take?
The combined balloon flight, quad biking and camel ride runs for approximately 9 hours door to door, including transfers between each activity.
Exact timings can vary slightly depending on the season and group size.
Do I need experience for any of the activities?
No, all three activities are suitable for first-timers. Guides provide full briefings before the balloon flight, quad biking and camel ride.
Support stays with the group throughout the day for each activity.
Is there an age requirement for quad biking?
Riders must be at least 16 years old for the quad biking section, and licence requirements can vary, so confirm this when you enquire.
Younger family members can typically still join the balloon flight and camel ride.
What should I wear?
Warm layers are useful for the pre-dawn balloon pickup, with closed-toe shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dusty for the quad biking and camel ride later on.
Sun protection is worth packing given the length of the day outdoors.
What happens if the balloon flight is cancelled for weather?
Hot air ballooning depends on suitable wind and visibility, so flights may be rescheduled if conditions are unsafe.
The team will be in touch as early as possible on the morning of the flight, and the quad biking and camel ride can usually still go ahead as planned.
