Morocco Hot Air Balloons is run by Barbaro Transport SARL, a Marrakech operator that has been putting guests in a basket at first light for more than twenty years, licensed by the Ministries of Tourism and Transport.
The crew work from Marrakech
The balloons, the drivers and the ground crew all work out of Marrakech, run by Barbaro Transport SARL under Moulay Hafid Boumehdi. The company runs a handful of sites across the region. The licences and the twenty-plus years of operating sit behind every one of them.
Where the balloons go up
Sunrise flights launch from the palm plain outside Marrakech, in the Bourous area a short drive from the medina. Collection is from your riad or hotel while the city is still dark; the exact meeting time is confirmed when you book.
