Exclusive VIP flight
Reserved space in a VIP compartment gives your group more room and a quieter ride than the standard shared Marrakech flight. We'll collect you privately from your hotel or riad and return you the same way after breakfast. Couples, small groups and anyone marking an anniversary or proposal often choose this version for the extra space rather than a fully chartered balloon.
Today, hour by hour
How the morning runs
A private transfer collects you from your Marrakech hotel or riad between 4:30am and 5:30am for the sunrise flight. The driver may meet you on foot if your riad sits on a pedestrian lane.
Mention any special occasion notes when you enquire. Couples, small groups and anyone marking an anniversary or proposal often choose this version for the extra space rather than a fully chartered balloon.
Your party has a reserved VIP compartment on the basket, which gives more room and a quieter ride than the standard shared flight. You still share the same balloon and countryside route as the standard Marrakech experience.
The crew give a full safety briefing before takeoff. No prior ballooning experience is needed.
You fly for around an hour at sunrise over the Marrakech countryside. VIP breakfast is served in the basket during the flight, which is the main difference from the shared package breakfast on the ground.
Weather still governs takeoff. If wind or visibility is unsafe, the team will be in touch as early as possible that morning.
After landing you return privately to the nearest accessible point to your accommodation. The full morning runs about five hours door to door including transfers.
Dress in warm layers for the early start and cooler air at height. Sunglasses help after sunrise.

Share your accommodation details and any special occasion notes when you enquire so pickup can be confirmed.
What makes this different from the standard balloon flight?
This experience uses a smaller VIP compartment on the balloon basket, giving your group more space and a quieter ride, along with a more elevated breakfast afterwards.
The flight route and duration are similar to the standard flight, with the difference being comfort, privacy and service.
How long does the experience take?
The full morning runs for approximately 5 hours door to door, covering transfers, around an hour in the air, and breakfast after landing.
Exact timings depend on sunrise and can shift slightly by season, as the launch site sits 20 to 30 minutes outside Marrakech.
Is this suitable for a proposal or special occasion?
Yes, the private compartment and more personal service make this a popular choice for proposals, anniversaries and other special occasions.
Mention any specific requests when you enquire so the team can help plan the details.
Do I need previous ballooning experience?
No, the flight is led by certified pilots and crew who provide a full safety briefing before takeoff, so first-timers are well looked after.
Balloon flights are weather dependent, so timings can shift slightly if conditions require it.
What should I wear?
Dress in warm layers for the pre-dawn start and cooler air at altitude, with closed-toe shoes that grip well for boarding and landing.
Bring sunglasses for after sunrise, and avoid loose scarves that could catch during inflation.
